It’s a slow journey coming out of winter’s cave, while bright sunshine might invite us out before long darkening clouds sweep in from the west and have us running back indoors.
While Spring Eqinox is a point in time it is also a season, its energies emerging at the edge of Imbolc, taking us over the threshold into the light half of the year before morphing into Beltane.

With Spring Equinox, we are symbolically emerging from the cave, having spent the dark winter months in the Cave of the Grandmothers, listening to stories of the wise ones, and joining the great She-Bear in her deep dreaming.
As the days grow longer, and the nights shorter, the land begins the great awakening, and the cycle of life starts again.
