Our keening circles are following the ‘Reimagining Death Rituals’ series, the current series is covering:

• Lamentation and farewell - History of bagpipers and keeners at the grave

• Gifts for the Journey - Historical practice of grave goods, dolls to accompany the dead

• The Wake Reimagined - A traditional wake - in the presence of the dead. A memorial keening circle

• Walking the Last Road - From coffin roads to memorial walks

• Overview of the last post on laments

• Check in - introductions

• Keening circle - a circle of laments

• Time to write, reflection

• Time to share any reflections
